Hardness is normally used all the brushes I. But I do not recommend this product because of its shape. It is convex rather than concave (ie, it curves inward instead of outward). It is very uncomfortable for me. It is like rubbing two balls hard (head and brush). The contact area is very weak and very painful. In physical terms, since the contact area is so small, your normal washing power creates a higher pressure than usual. Either you buy a brush, flat or concave. It is the shape of the head fits better. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Very stiff bristles and Mr. Dowdy had been a head massage that looked almost identical to that holding. I had it once too often, and it broke. This replacement is a bit of a disappointment compared to what I had previously owned the lower hairs are made of a plastic hard and very painful on my scalp.
